Hi, I am Varun Devulapalli.

I am a Software Developer, who graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2012 with a Masters degree in Information Security. I have been working in software development for the past years

I have been built my projects in Spring Boot and I have worked on dismanteling monoliths and implementing microservices. I have utilized AWS to deploy projects using docker containers for high availability.

I can help you with

  • Containerized Applications and CI/CD pipelines

  • Design and Coding of Web Applications

  • Defining and Implementation of Security Models

Projects

  • Seller Feed Processor

I was able to help design and implement a mechanism to ingest listings from various brokers in csv files to show up in our database. This was implemented using Java Spring MVC for the services and workers, S3 to store the files and SQS for async messaging

  • Shop Profile Page Redesign in Bootstrap

Redesign of a shops profile page using bootstrap, I was instrumental in coding the js, css and backend services for the page.

  • Repair Facility Reports

This project was for repair facilities in CCC Network to get analytics for their performance in the form of various reports. I was responsible for the architecture, management of tasks and full stack development of the project. I implemented the front end with gulp, scss javascript and html, the backend in java, sql and pl/sql.

  • Appointment Scheduling Mechanism

The mechanism displays the time slots available for the shops and allows the user to book an appointment with the shop. I worked on the architecture, front end and back end of the appointment scheduling mechanism. I implemented parts of the front end in scss, javascript and html, the backend in sql and java.

  • Search Results Page Redesign in Bootstrap

Redesign of the search results page utilizing bootstrap. I was instrumental in coding the front end (HTML,CSS and JS) and the backend (Java, Spring, JSP)

Designed and implemented plugins that allow you find out the current repair status of your car.

  • Plugins for Review Sharing

Designed and implemented plugins that allow you find out the reviews of a shop.

  • Auto Body Shop Search

I worked on the web application and my responsibilities included coding the backend using spring mvc in Java and the frontend using CSS, Javascript and HTML on JSPs.

  • Repair Status Update

I worked on the web application and my responsibilities included coding the javascript for the main UI, coding the HTML, CSS and coding the Model, View and Controller on the spring framework.

  • Designed and Implemented SNARP an Active Mobile Network Intrusion Protection System using SNORT

SNARP is an active Mobile Network Intrusion Prevention System. Public networks of today do not have an Intrusion Detection/Prevention system as is the case with most Wi-Fi networks. The users of such a service do not have any access to its network configuration thereby rendering it difficult to protect themselves. With the increasing numbers of such wireless networks and mobile devices that depend on them, a mobile intrusion prevention system can help users defend themselves better.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

I worked on an automated review posting mechanism that creates a review image from a jsp and posts the review to different social networks for qualifying shops.
